searching for beautiful quilts.
Let's go.........I'll drive.
I've bookmarked your new quilting blog. I am still a beginning quilter, so I am always on the lookout for quilting tips, ideas, and so forth. I am not good at machine quilting but have never attempted hand quilting, so I would be interested in hearing more about your experiences with hand quilting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea! I will be traveling with you.
ReplyDeleteI cut and pieced my quilts, but didn't actually "quilt" them. Most of the quilts I put together were for my grandkids, rag quilts, and I made six of them. One Log Cabin lap quilt, and one king size quilt for my parents. Other small items like table runners, etc. If I'm ever in a place with more room, I owe my youngest grandson a rag quilt! I really want to do a Crazy Quilt, I have The Complete Guide to Crazy Quilting - some day. :)
ReplyDeleteI am just beginning on my journey to learn quilting. I made my first little quilt, a Teddy Bear Quilt and am researching taking a couple of classes to learn some basic skills. It should be interesting :) Karen
